Hen Party Ideas
The pressure is on… you're in charge of organising the hen party of the century and you want to give the bride a send off to remember. Follow our guidelines for planning a hen party and you won't go far wrong whatever event you go for:
- Avoid stress - start planning as early as possible.
- Make sure the bride is involved in putting together the invite list.
- Make sure you have an idea on everybody's budget taking into consideration that you may also be paying for the bride. Not everybody will have the same disposable income.
- Choose an event that the bride will enjoy and that is also suitable for everyone who is invited.
- Remember, a 'wild child' may act like a demure respectable young lady if her mother is present so a stripper and his whipped cream may not give you the photo opportunity you were hoping for….
- Make sure the bride remains centre of attention - after all, it is her hen party.
- Unless she is outgoing and confident, try not to embarrass her or make her look too ridiculous. Remember she already has the pre-wedding nerves to contend with and you don't want to be the one to send her over the edge!
- As planner and organiser, be proud of your achievement and remember to enjoy yourself!
