Clay Pigeon Shooting
Guns aren't just for boys! Make like Sharon Stone in The Quick and the Dead and learn how to handle a shotgun (safely and under the full guidance of our qualified instructor of course).
Clay pigeon shooting involves hitting clay targets that are released in pairs from a mechanical trap. The clays are released at different heights and speeds to simulate the actual flight of game birds, giving you all the thrills of this popular leisure activity.
And You Thought You'd Never Wear Ear Muffs Again…
Before the competition begins you will be given a safety briefing and all safety equipment, including ear defenders, is provided. You'll be given expert tuition on the best shooting techniques and you will be taught how to 'lead the clay' which means firing the shot in anticipation of the target's path. Turning you into a pro in no time…well at least hitting the clay!
After you will be given some practice rounds before the real games begin. The competition sees you head to head against the other hens to see who can hit the most clays.
